The Danby End Table
Every piece I build is made to order. There's no stock size or off-the-shelf version of this table. What you see here is one configuration built as a nightstand or living room side table, but it's a starting point, not a fixed spec. Dimensions, wood species, and finish are all built around your space.
The Danby is a mid century modern side table with clean, tapered legs that splay outward for a light, grounded stance. A raised lip runs along the back and sides of the tabletop, keeping small items from sliding off the edge. Two drawers share a single continuous oval cutout pull, so the design stays quiet and uninterrupted, no applied hardware needed. Below the drawers, an open shelf gives you a spot for books, a lamp, or anything you want within easy reach.
Available in solid walnut or solid cherry, both finished to bring out the natural grain and let the wood's character show through.
Features:
Solid wood construction, available in walnut, cherry, or other
Two drawers with a continuous carved oval pull, no applied hardware
Open lower shelf
Splayed, tapered legs
Raised back and side lip on the tabletop
Fully custom dimensions, wood species, and finish
Get a quote: Since every piece is custom built, pricing starts with a conversation about your space and needs. Email me at jason [!at] mejadesigns.com or hit "Message Me" here on Etsy with your project details, including dimensions, intended use, and any style preferences, and I'll put together a bid.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sun exposure over time, as wood tone will mellow slightly with age. Keep away from excess moisture.
